Drese Art is an independent art-driven lifestyle brand founded by designer and creative director Jan Michiel Drese. The brand was created around the idea that original artwork should not exist only in galleries or digital spaces, but also as part of everyday life through functional objects designed to be used, carried, and lived with daily.
Our mission is simple: Art you can carry. Style you can live.
Drese Art was built as an alternative to mass-produced visual culture — focusing instead on original artistic collections, thoughtful design, and products created with long-term aesthetic value in mind. The goal is to make artistic expression part of everyday routines, workspaces, travel, and home environments.
Drese Art started from a personal obsession: surrounding everyday life with meaningful visuals. As a parent, traveler and art lover, Jan Michiel wanted designs that felt expressive and modern — without being disposable or trend-chasing. That vision gradually grew into a curated collection of artistic accessories that can travel with you to work, school, trips and at home.
Each collection is built around a mood or place: Nordic-inspired florals, Iberian blossoms, vintage travel posters, city vibes from New York to Paris, sporty energy on the tennis court or golf course, or abstract and ethnic art influenced by cultures from Japan to Australia and Africa.
Drese Art collections are developed around visual themes, atmospheres, and artistic influences rather than short-term trends. Floral compositions, abstract colour studies, vintage travel aesthetics, cultural patterns, sports-inspired movement, and contemporary illustration all contribute to a growing ecosystem of interconnected collections.
Rather than treating products as isolated items, Drese Art approaches design as a cohesive visual system across everyday objects and living spaces.
Drese Art focuses on artistic lifestyle accessories across several product lines:
All designs are created as part of cohesive art collections, so you can mix and match across products — for example, pairing a floral iPhone case with a matching tote bag and notebook, or decorating your workspace with coordinating mugs, mouse pads and prints.
Every Drese Art product is made to order. That means your item is produced specifically for you after you complete your purchase, rather than pulled from a large warehouse of pre-made stock.
This approach allows us to:
Typical delivery time is around 7–10 days from production to arrival, depending on destination and carrier.
By producing items on demand rather than in bulk, Drese Art reduces unnecessary overproduction while allowing collections to remain focused on originality, flexibility, and artistic independence rather than mass inventory cycles.

Drese Art sits at the intersection of artistic vision and modern technology. Our collections are created through a mix of traditional visual research, digital illustration tools and a combination of digital tools and modern creative techniques. Every design is curated, refined and composed by Jan Michiel to ensure consistency of style, colour and storytelling across the brand.
Technology allows us to explore different cultural influences — from Nordic landscapes to Iberian villages or vintage cityscapes — while maintaining a coherent, recognisable Drese Art aesthetic.

Jan Michiel Drese is the founder and creative director of Drese Art, an independent art-driven lifestyle brand focused on bringing original artwork into everyday life.
Inspired by art, travel, culture, architecture, nature, and daily visual experiences, Jan created Drese Art around a simple idea: functional objects can also carry atmosphere, artistic identity, and personal expression.
Drese Art started from a personal obsession with surrounding everyday life with meaningful visuals. As a parent, traveler, and art lover, Jan wanted to create designs that felt expressive, modern, and practical — without becoming disposable or trend-driven.
Rather than following fast-moving aesthetics or mass-produced design cycles, Drese Art develops cohesive artistic collections designed to feel expressive, timeless, and natural within everyday routines — from iPhone cases and tote bags to laptop sleeves, notebooks, mugs, and home décor.
Jan’s work combines visual storytelling, digital illustration, artistic research, modern creative tools, and design experimentation with an eye for everyday practicality. His collections are influenced by themes such as floral art, abstract compositions, vintage travel aesthetics, sports-inspired movement, and cultural influences from different parts of the world.
As both a creator and a father, Jan approaches design with a balance of creativity, functionality, and long-term intention. Many Drese Art collections are shaped not only by visual inspiration from travel and culture, but also by the desire to create objects that people genuinely enjoy living with over time.
Today, Drese Art serves customers internationally across the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, and Europe through a growing ecosystem of artistic collections, guides, and design-focused lifestyle products.
